The Norton Fire Department would like to thank Alnylam Pharmaceuticals for the generous donation of life saving Cyanide Antidote Kits. These kits will counteract the deadly effects on patients or firefighters overcome by Cynanide gas. This gas is a common byproduct of house fires and is also found in some chemical processing companies. These kits are extremely expensive and without the donation from Alnylam, may not have been possible to have available on our ambulances.
