The mission of the Norton Fire-Rescue Department is to protect lives and property by providing exceptional service and the highest quality fire suppression, emergency medical care, rescue, fire prevention, and public education services to our community. Our department has a rich history of providing excellent services to our citizens. In addition, we are well-respected and supported by our community, including our Legislative and Executive Branches of government. We are a well-trained and progressive department focusing on providing the highest quality service in the safest manner possible. To that end, we are very supportive of training and professional development requests from our members. Over the past several years, we have significantly increased our technology and invested millions of dollars in our personnel, apparatus, and equipment. In addition, we have many members active on various county and regional specialty teams as well as the many specialized divisions within our department.
